We are proud to announce the successful completion of the project “Keep the Nordic-Baltic Region Moving,” implemented in collaboration with ITS Norway and ITS Estonia with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Over the past year, partners from Latvia, Estonia, Norway and across the Nordic region have worked closely together to strengthen cooperation in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and promote knowledge exchange on sustainable, digital and automated mobility solutions.

The project brought together public authorities, companies, NGOs and academic stakeholders through webinars, strategic ideation sessions, Nordic ITS coordination meetings and an experience exchange visit to Norway.

At the end of February, all organizations met in Oslo, Norway, for an experience exchange visit within the project framework. This visit provided an excellent platform for strengthening cooperation between public sector partners from the three countries, while showcasing cutting-edge mobility innovations implemented in Norway.

A key milestone of the project is the approval of a jointly developed cross-border mobility proposal, ensuring that collaboration will continue beyond the project and further enhance Nordic-Baltic cooperation in developing smart, shared and sustainable urban mobility solutions. This initiative has not only reinforced professional networks but also strengthened the integration of Baltic ITS ecosystems into established Nordic cooperation frameworks.
