For the sixth year, the Transport Innovation Forum was held in Vilnius, establishing itself as the leading platform for innovation and collaboration in the Baltic Sea region. This year’s theme, "Innovations for Resilience and Sustainability," reflected the evolving trends and challenges in the transport and logistics sectors.
The event was honored by the presence of Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė and Lithuania’s Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis. Sharing experiences with neighboring countries is highly valuable, as we are at a similar stage of development and face comparable challenges in mobility and technology. Regional collaboration allows for the exchange of best practices and the development of joint solutions tailored to the specific conditions of the region.
ITS Latvia established new connections during this event, including with Baltic railway and postal companies, as well as with the EIT Europe (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) organization, which aims to promote innovation.
The Transport Innovation Forum 2024 took place on October 8-9 in Vilnius.
